Orleans is located in the Loire valley : Orleans is 50 km from the castle of Chambord. The city is surrounded by forests and is crossed by the Loire, the largest river of France which was classified in 2000 by UNESCO “World heritage of humanity”.

Orleans is just one hour driving from Paris .
